The grille and the double chevron above it make this a 1967+ version, but it seems to have only two side windows and front suicide doors... So must be a 1963/64 version indeed, with a new bonnet. |

Are you irritated about a) such a destination-sign on a better farm road? or b) the accuracy of the farmer for disassembling it before and rebuilding it after the plowing? |

It's the wrong sort of sign. A direction sign - even in the middle of nowhere - would have an arrow shape or a painted arrow. This is a boundary arrival sign as you enter the place. No wonder the hitch-hiker is so confused, standing on the wrong side of the road to get a lift from the Citroen.
