Vehicle is used in the opening and closing scenes, and is a major plot point - Police are being forced to return the crashed car to former owner's widower, who they suspect killed her, vehicle is finally returned near the end. |

The widower had originally owned the car, the victim (widower's wife) took the car and intentionally crashed it to kill herself and the person that was blackmailing her. The widower wanted the vehicle back because the vehicle came from a time that his wife loved him and he wanted to go back there before her death. That and I liked Gerry's reaction to the damage done to the car. GERRY: "What a waste, what a terrible, terrible waste." But I even liked Gerry's response to find out of WHAT caused the damage to the car. GERRY: "I bet it was a WOMAN driver that caused this." SANDRA: "Yes it was."
