Sweet car, though the flat hood tells us it's nothing more than a 318 car. |

who cares if its a 318 its still a good looking car. |

Some challengers came with flat hoods and had 383 four barrel 330 hp in them. -- Last edit: 2007-01-18 22:05:38 |

I wouldn't say no to a 1970 Dodge Challenger, even if it came with a Slant Six... |

Did you ever try driving a Challenger with a Slant Six? Nothing smaller than a 318 will do. |

Hey, leave my slant six alone With a little work and a big carb they are OK. Won't do burnouts but they will alway get you there, you could pour gravel in the intake and they probably would still run |

Okay, that's true, wrenchhead. After the "big one" there will only be coach roaches and Slant Sixes left to roam the earth. My older brother bought new a Red 1971 Challenger R/T with a 383 Magnum. Dummy sold it to buy a 74 Monte Carlo!!! -- Last edit: 2007-02-20 18:55:12 |

I guess I am also in the dummy club, wish I still had all the cars I have worn out, wrecked or sold On the other had my son once got an old Chrysler New Yorker with a 440 wedge he wanted to restore and it only got 9 miles per gallon, ouch, that didn't last long. -- Last edit: 2007-02-20 19:00:19 |

I wish my family kept all the great cars they bought through the 50's, 60's and 70's!!! We'd be rich. |
