City lights as I understand it, were the same as sidelights/parking lamps and should back then be used at night unless driving on unlit roads? Predates the EU DRL. There was also a low voltage main beam (pre)DRL solution. I believe all of this was to avoid dazzling other occupants of the road. @dsl, @jfs, anyone - SA code 238 is a code used for GB 1986-89. (Now used for lane assist.) Any ideas what it was in detail? |
