1964 plate would suggest Spitfire 4 but the font on that plate looks dodgy. |

Pour moi ce serait plutôt une MK2 vu la hauteur des poignées de portes et (peut-être, c'est assez flou) la présence d'une serrure... La vue arrière nous en aurait dit plus, si le capot de la malle arrière n'avait été changé... Il n'y a plus les sigles. |

I owned this car in 1969. It's a 1966 Spitfire 4 Mk2 which was originally white and had the registration LJJ 190D. It was also used in the BBC2 TV series Butterflies, Episode 5 Series 2 which was first televised on 07/10/1980 where it carried it's original number plate and was white. As you can see by following the link, the car has an identical dent on the drivers door in both cases and the wing mirrors look the same too.
