All this tells us this is a 244 rather than a 264. The rear lights that "goes round the corner" was introduced in 1979, the rectangular door mirrors (concerning the 240's) in 1980, the badge on the front wing that says "VOLVO" in 1980. As this car still has got the two round head lights tells us this is basic model (DL in Europe). That is a 1980 Volvo 244 DL.
