I rather think this is a 1963-65 Opel Rekord [A] with a 1700 cc engine. The reason why is the badge that is mounted rather high on the bottom right side of the boot lid, above the waist line. The Rekord [B] had the badge mounted somewhat lower, with an additional red badge if having the 1900 cc engine. It was only the 2-door version that was released in march -63, the other bodystyles came later during summer so they belong to 1964 modelyear. It´s probably an [A] though, and it might also be one with 1500 engine. |
