Actually,they derives by Ford Escort-powered(BR-made by Autolatina,a joint-venture thru Ford and VW Brazilian and Argentinian filials set up in 1986 and aborted in 1996)1993 VW Logus,a sort of locally-BR-made VW Vento/Jetta,available only with 2 or 4-doors sedan body;later in 1994 was launched the hatchback version Pointer with 5-doors(before 1994,Pointer was only a trim name for the sporty 1983-1988 BR-made Passat,named just 1.6 Pointer GTS) |
