Ce qui est sûr, c'est que ce n'est pas une TR3A. Mais ça peut être une TR2 post 1955... |

This is a 1960 TR3A if you go by registration and '59 if you go by VIN. It's the same car in the Life on Mars shoot under TR3A. While it's supposed to look like we're in Germany, we're actually in near Riverside & 160th St in Manhattan. It was the first time I saw so many blondes on one block in NYC. |

An authentic TR3A would have external door and boot handles and a Triumph script on the boot. The LoM car looks a definite TR3A - /vehicle_213586-Triumph-TR3A-1960.html - but I don't see enough here to be fully convinced. However if you know the car and have photos to confirm they are the same despite the apparent contradictions, I'd be very interested in pinning it down. |

It's my car and I'm driving it in the photo. It does have a trunk handle and door handles, don't know why the trunk handle and the Triumph logo doesn't show in the photo. I've been driving the car since 1978. Look for it in the upcoming David Chase film. It was also in the Italy episode of Pan Am. Both "Italy" and "Germany" were shot in NY. The German license plates are props. |
