I'd guess it's a hot bulb enigne, could it be a Lanz?

I'd say so, probably from the 20s/30s. Stupid question: Were they manufactured under license somewhere in Skandinavia (as I do know that there was a Polish assembly)?

IMO there is no direct evidence that this thing has anything to do with Lanz

my guess it's a self made tractor with off the shelf engine

I've gone thru vintage tractors Norway and this big database for Finland ones and nothing that comes even close

I was watching Classic Tractor Fever and they showed a Kramer that looks something like this. Check out Kramer K-12 and K-18.

the K18 looks pretty much same only difference I spot the flywheel shape but main you can't see it ...

however it does look slightly smaller so main one is rather K12

and now it's revealed why they have so rudimentary home made look :o

they were the CHEAPEST tractors on german market with a price of 3.575 DM !
