Is that a circa 1905 Cadillac Model K ?

I think that this is a 1910 Rover 8hp.

That would be more probable in England. But on the Rover I don't see those typical curved lines next to the radiator...

"H" must have been given well before 1910.

Registration letter 'H' for Middlesex between 1903 and 1912, and H30 probably before 1905?

Rover although similar does not look quite the same as in the movie.

Definitely a Cadillac, they were a good seller in England.

It is not possible to draw any inferences about the registration date. Many owners in those early times were in the habit of transferring the registration of their old car to their new(er) one, which was permitted by the regulations. H 30 would have been the 30th registration ever issued by Middlesex, which started the series in December 1903, so if this car was a 1905 model it is quite likely that the registration had already been transferred from an older vehicle. Pre 1920 registrations are a bit of a minefield for this and other reasons, mainly because so many of the records have been destroyed.

On my way to work I used to pass a Morris Minor 1000 which carried the registration O 3, and the lady who ran our local pet shop had a Jaguar Mk 9 which was CX 6, so nothing is what it seems.

The car is 1906 or 1907 from the more rounded hood. Could be a Model K or a Model M.
