BMW 3 racecar, but I don't know the exact type. I thought it is interesting to upload. Onslow watches TV... -- Last edit: 2006-07-19 08:53:02 |

Thats British touring cars. The vauxhall looks more like a Cavalier |

I thought I saw 'VECTRA' on the side when it passes. I will watch again. |

Oh. Maybe it was European touring cars then. |

I think this is from 1991 BTCC series, the two Mobil M3s were driven by Steve Soper and Jonathan Palmer, and the Cavalier drivers were John Cleland and Jeff Allam. |

Notice the name on the TV - 'Fidelity' LOL |

If it was 1991 there wouldn't be Vectras around unless this was DTM where what britian called the cavalier would be the vectra. -- Last edit: 2007-08-17 09:40:42 |

No, BeanBandit is correct, this is the 1991 (or could possibly be 1990) BTCC. You can occasionaly hear Murray Walkers commentary in the background when Onslow is watching it. |

I think it's the 1990 BTCC as the Cavalier appears to be carrying the number '50' (Cleland) or '51'. In 1991 the Vauxhalls were numbered '5' (Cleland) or '6' (Allam) - the first year of the single class rules. The BMW M3 was run by Prodrive and was probably Frank Sytner's. -- Last edit: 2010-06-20 14:00:33 |

The Vectra name was not used until in 1996 in BTCC when the new Vectra B was introduced , before that it was Cavalier in the Uk. |

Season 2 would make it 1991 |
