If the wheels do not lie, this is a rare 1993 Alfa Romeo 33 Q4. ![]() |

UK did not get a Q4 badged 33. Closest I can find is 1.7 16v 4x4 from Feb 91-Jan 93 which seems to have all the trim as here and 14" alloys. |

Really in UK there was a 33 1.7 16v 4x4 with those "decomposable" rims ? In Italy there were these versions: 2/1990 -> 6/1992 1.7 i.e. 4x4 : http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/7908/altoy.jpg 4/1991 -> 6/1992 1.7 i.e. 16v Permanent 4 Quadrifoglio Verde : http://www.alfasport.net/public/upload/Alfa_33_Permanent4.jpg 7/1992 -> 10/1995 1.7 i.e. 16v Q4 : http://www.autobelle.it/annunci/public0001/1img-1272635618.jpg Only Q4 had that kind of rims. |

1.7 16v 4x4 from Feb 91-Jan 93 is the only listed 4wd saloon for UK which I can find. Is high-spec 2wd a possibility? UK had June 90 onwards "1.7 16v Cloverleaf" to Jan 93, replaced by "1.7 16v" until Oct 94, which could match all the trim detail (deep spoilers and sills, colour coding, fog lamps) though wheels only described as alloy. We're agreed that the car is top spec 33 1.7; it has August 93-July 94 L-plate (so after UK 4wd was dropped which suggests 2wd). |

No Italian Alfa 33 2WD had those rims. But it is also possible that in 1993 these rims could be requested as aftermarket options. After all, this 33 seems to have also lowered suspension. It may be slightly customized. |

Registration L52BPM Make Alfa Romeo Model 33 16V Year 1993 Colour Red Registered 18 Dec 1993 Engine 1712cc Fuel Petrol According to Parkers, the AWD model was sold in UK up to January 1993 and retained the Permanent 4 name, together with the UK-specific Cloverleaf badging. After that date in UK there was only a simple 1.7 16V model, with FWD and no Cloverleaf badging |
