Script on the left looks like Saurer. This Steyr Saurer looks similar (bumpers, trims), but not exactly the same. |

I found one that looks like the photo on your link, but the grille badge says Steyr instead of Saurer : http://www.weddings-and-more.de/images/slice_0106/img_010603_foto_postbus.jpg However, the registration number on your example is much closer to the unknown bus. -- Last edit: 2011-08-08 12:26:08 |

It seems that in the years after Steyr took over Saurer Austria they put on badges almost arbitrarily.. I've realized now that 'our' buses have a completely different door opening mechanism than the unknown bus. |

It looks almost the same as on the linked picture, but is little bit lower - look at the relation between side windows and trim lines level. The other differences are also roofracks and mentioned doors. I think these are two different versions of the same bus model; maybe it depends on what was the purpose of use. |
