Looks like it has the vents on the front fender, so I'd say 1978+ Mercury Zephyr rather than a Ford Fairmont. |

Although imdb does not list the filming locations, this must have been filmed in the Carolinas or Georgia by seeing an Ingles supermarket since these chain stores are the most common in those states. |
