Something uncommon. That moulding on the cowl is distinctive. |

Can the experts date this at least? That might narrow it down. |

This one is driving me nuts! I have searched several obscure makes over days but none of them have that molding!... ![]() |

It rather looks like it has some kind of hood canvas fitted on. |

Stumbled across an entry in the Standard Catalog of American Cars and was immediately reminded of this. I think this is a 1915 Jackson, which would make this the second car of this make on the site. Earlier models had a similar spotlight and molding on the cowl, which piqued my interest. For 1916, the molding disappeared and the car grew larger. http://www.autolit.com/Store/images/D/MA/ma7184-d.jpg I would also advise to compare the wheels in the thumb with those on this 1916: http://www.autolit.com/Store/images/D/MA/ma2025-d.jpg Calling Raul... |

It does appear to have similar molding and side vents. Jackson it is. Nice work. |

Yes, but 1915, not 1916. (That comment actually dates back to February) |

Fixed. I guess it's a six-cylinder model rather than a four? |
