1957 Golden Hawk. You can't quite see if this is a hardtop or not but that is not necessary - only that year and model had the chrome streaks in the side air intakes next to the grille. Also, note the chrome chevrons near the fin tip - a Golden Hawk exclusive. In addition, just under the leaning waitress, you can see the chrome spear break between the front and rear side trim. Only the Golden Hawks were trimmed this way. This car is incorrectly 2-toned. In '57, the Golden hawk had the color contrast on the fins only. The roof should be the same color as the lower body, not the fin color. (The color style shown was used on the '58 Golden Hawk.) -- Last edit: 2011-07-16 17:02:58 |
