Was known as the "Ferrarina"(=little Ferrari),'cause the final project was released by Ferrari factory,but wasn't built in Maranello,but in Milan,by the industry man Oronzio De Nora,into ASA plants;the tarmac-spec-basic car,ASA 1000 GT(1032cc.,4cyl.)was styled by Giugiaro in 1961--when was still a bodywork's learner-stylist--for Bertone of Turin(was launched also in 1000 GTS spider body variation);that's illustrated was one of last for racing use,before of ends production around 1966-'67 (for bankruptcy)with the ASA RB(=Roll-Bar)411,that no got glory in races |
