This is not a Model A Ford. Not sure yet what it is. Maybe a Nash 420?? -- Last edit: 2012-06-21 21:51:57 |

That's actually a '31 Ford. I was on the set that night and remember the car -- it was owned by an old man who had put a Pinto engine in it, so it was chosen for the scene because it was a reliable runner. |

I recall that I have driven this car -- it is a Ford, not a Nash. |

It's still not a Nash -- if you don't believe me, at least change it to unknown. (It's a Ford -- I promise) There is a Nash in the picture -- it's the touring car on the street in the background. That's my 1921 Nash. -- Last edit: 2014-10-07 07:15:35 |

I’m in the Ford camp. Here is a Nash Standard Six, complete with longitudinal semi elliptic springs on the front axle, and wooden wheels. https://www.grautogallery.com/vehicles/8620/1929-nash-standard-six I would suggest that such things are not frequently encountered on Model A Fords, and cannot be seen here. Any takers? |
