Can't really see if early Mk1 (1969+) or facelift Mk1 (1973+). Snapshot info from small print in World Car Catalogue 1971 that there was Peru assembly of Ford UK Escorts and Ford Germany 17M and 20M; my next edition 1975 only mentions UK Escorts, nothing German. No reference to Capris found. |
