1980 Chevrolet C-20 Camper Special Fleetside. Here it is listed on the Cinema Vehicles page: Link to "www.cinemavehicles.com" Looks like a Silverado model? |

It does appear to be dressed in Silverado trim. Note the column shifter for the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. The Camper Special Package was only available for 20 and 30 Series pickups. It includes heavy-duty shock absorbers, front stabilizer bar (for C-Series pickups), and camper body pre-wiring. The upgraded Deluxe Camper Special Package which was only available for Fleetside pickups included everything the first package had, but added camper body tie-downs and a Cab-to-Fleetside shock absorber. The Camper Special and Deluxe Camper Special Package were designed for "slide-in" camper units that attach to the pickup box. They are no different than the Trailering Special Package which adds trailer towing enhancements to help make towing chores more effortless. |

Can you buy vehicles from CVS, or do they only rent them out? |

They only rent them out. |

Wow, that's quite a business. I wonder if the Impreza (orange/red, 2010 hatchback) they recently got is one of the ones from "Due Date". |

I recognize a lot of the vehicles they have, I just can’t remember what movies I saw them in ... ![]() |

You and me both. Over time I'm going to be looking at some productions to try to link them back to CVs. I can see you've already started yourself and I appreciate the help ![]() |

Yeah, they have a 1990 LTD that looks like it *might* be from Blues Brothers 2000, two Talladega Nights cars (one with a partial paint job, and a cutaway for interior shots), and the '78 Camaro from Arrested Development: Compare: /vehicle_243739-Chevrolet-Camaro-1978.html and Link to "www.cinemavehicles.com" |
