Were not the sidelights/indicators placed later under the front bumper? I think it happened during 1974 and this TR6 with white sidelights must be a 1975 model year car. I suppose 1976 model year cars had all-amber sidelights/indicators ( also place like these, under the bumper ). |

Interessante remarque. J'ignorai que les clignotants étaient passés, aux USA, sous le pare-chocs, à un moment. Ma doc n'y fait pas référence. J'ai donc fait quelques recherches et il semble que tu ais raison, rpcm. J'ai trouvé un site américain ou il est expliqué que les butoirs de pare-chocs sont devenus proéminents, ainsi que le passage des clignotants sous celui-ci, après août 1974. Quant à la couleur des clignotants, j'ai trouvé ailleurs que seuls les derniers modèles (1976) étaient bicolores. Au USA, toujours. I always looked at the TR6s with this type of indicators - that seem similar to those used on Austins 1100 and 1300 - as a curiosity ( but definitely not as a beauty... ). At the moment, the offer of TR6s for sale on Link to "motors.shop.ebay.com" is useful to see the differences and I would say 1975 model year cars had white and amber indicators and 1976 model year cars had all-amber indicators. -- Last edit: 2007-09-09 21:23:14 |
