nzcarnerd ◊ 2011-05-05 22:46	I agree not Volkswagen-based, but is a custom built T bucket. It appears to be front engine, rear drive. Can we get a closer look at the front end from the main pic? That will give an idea whether it has VW front suspension or not. I think it will finish up being labeled 'made for movie'. Someone might recognise those wheels with the big hubcaps - they have the suggestion of a large bolt pattern - VW style.
Ingo ◊ 2011-05-06 10:20	The hubcaps are too big for a VW or Porsche 356, the rims aren't looking VW-ish either, rather as something of a bigger car from the 40ies.
