2002-2004 Ford Excursion Limited (UW137) Its four-wheel drive, as some of the running gear is visible. Excursion was only avalible with part-time four-wheel drive. It had the usual 4x4 hardware including a two-speed dual range transfer case rated for ultra-high torque output. Front and rear differentials were conventional type. A heavy-duty rear limited-slip differential (LSD) was optional. It is the same 4x4 system found in the 1999-2005 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The Excursion didn’t hang around long enough to receive any of the off road electronics from the Expedition, which is a shame. |
