The crash looks faked. Only taillights and bumper are mounted off, but the body is not damaged. Due the orange front indicators max. 90 hp. I know, how a dented and scruffy Passat looks - my father had one for 10 years. It's very likely that they faked the crash. I don't remember if they actually showed the Escort hitting it during the chase, and they probably didn't want any damage that wasn't very easy to fix, as they used this car in nearly all episodes. |
