A side view shows the 'F-47' badge. Would it be a Ford F-47 instead? |

I guess the badge is home made from an F-4 and an F-7 badge as they only had models F-1 to F-8? |

I validated the movie and I changed F-47 to 1948 F-1 (it's a ½-Ton Pick-Up) but, since achiu31 has insisted on his previous answer (above), I've done some search and he is right. The movie is filmed in Canada according IMDB (Hartney, Manitoba, Winnipeg), the plot of the movie is in Canada and in Canada the Ford pickups were listed as F-47. In the U.S.A. the model was F-1. Also, if we have a look to this page about 1948-1952 Ford Trucks, we'll see that USA's F-1 are F-47 in Canada so, from now on, 48-52 USA's F-1 if the movie was filmed in Canada....F-47. Congratulations, the very first on the site. |
