I agree with M-H, but would rather go for it being a 744D (see Link to "www.tractorshed.com") rather than a 44. The M-H models are sometimes awfully difficult to distinguish...

The 44 was canadian, the 744 was british
Canadian have "Continental" engine, british have "Perkins" engine

Similar, but not the same.

The clue lies in the difference in the engines - the air filter on the 744 (on the left side of the engine) is unique, and the exhaust exits on the left of the hood/ bonnet whereas the one of the Continental engine on the 44 exits on the right.

If it is a 744 (as I am convinced it is; if you are not - please google pics of 44s and 744s, and note the subtle differences as outlined above) it would be in the UK - either Manchester (England) or Kilmarnock (Scotland).
