Oh, DAF also made product placement? It's for sure a brand new company-owned car. In Düsseldorf (the "D" on the plate) sat the German office of DAF and it's a brand new plate, because the hyphen is in the middle. Before 1961, when the coloured TÜV-sticker for the back plate was introduced, it sat higher: /vehicle_18623-Borgward-Isabella-1954.html For the actress it must have been a big pain to be filmed in this car. Trude Herr http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trude_Herr was a proud and convinced native from Köln/Cologne - to sit in a car with a Düsseldorf-plate is an incredible insult for a real Cologne-person |

This chrome framed grille was indeed new for the 1961 750, although it was also used for the 600. On a 600 the cooling fan would have been visible, though. Edit: Luxe with optional two-tone paint with the nice names Marona (dark red) and Distingo (black). Edit2: Strange to see the white indicators. I would have expected orange coloured ones on a German car... -- Last edit: 2010-11-26 13:12:51 |

I'm still convinced, that it's a demonstration-car, owned by DAF Deutschland, due the brand new D-plate. |

That would explain the white indicator lights. |
