I am not convinced. Especially the pulley arrangement for the blade looks quite untypical for Caterpillar. Have you got any reference? |

I found some reference: The blade arrangement is actually a Traxcavator-Shovel by the Trackson Company, first attached to a Caterpillar Thirty in 1937. Link to "www.oldengine.org" The crawler itself is not a D5, which has a long engine overhang, but probably a D4 or RD4. |
