Very nice and interesting! They have already the lower protection tube of the (much later) Ondine, and small round indicator lights that are placed more inwards than the later standard lights. I always thought that the US versions until 1961 had rectangular indicators. Also the upper protection tube of the bumper is different from later US bumpers (it became straight). The new wheels came in May or June 1957, and teh central strip on the front boot lid was dropped in July 1957 (but maybe the US models kept it longer?). Because of the new wheels I'd say we'd should list these as 1958 model year, though I guess they must have been very early examples with these wheels. |
