Late in the final season there are actually two of these. It's the only duplicate I ever saw of any of the HP squad cars. These images are from ep. 4.32:![]() ![]() ![]() |

Probably the most intimidating police cruiser I've ever seen. How would you like to see that front end in your rear view mirror? |

I agree with Commamnder. |

That front end looks like a scowl from a cop! One on the truly ugly cars ever to grace US highways! Thanks, Virgil Exner! -- Last edit: 2012-07-26 14:20:14 |

I don't find it "ugly". "Individualistic" and "distinctive" are the words I would choose. (Not like today's cookie cutter car designs.) |

Bank Messenger, last episode s4, has blonde 2nd cop on highway (not Boyette) say 10-4 and get into a '59 Dodge at 07:14. It's a 3-sp standard. He puts it in first to take off at 07:20. (All Torqueflites were push button then.) So whether this Dodge is real cop car or not, the standard trans is unusual. Edit: watched it again, not so sure cop 1130 doesn'talso punch Torqueflite with left hand... -- Last edit: 2025-11-29 02:25:03 |
