In this episode, this truck was hijacked by one of the meanest "Highway Patrol" villains ever. He kidnaps his estranged wife, then ties her to a bucket of water which is perched above a bunch of nitrate explosives (which goes off when it combines with water). But Jan Shepard, who plays the wife/victim Peg Bolton, is especially lovely. Resembles Eden, Grace Kelly and Catherine Deneuve, all 3. Played "Mimi" in the Elvis movie, King Creole, other small parts in B movies. Also portrayed Frank Morgan's wife Betty in the Sheriff of Cochise/United States Marshall series. Now 86, still living w/her husband, they'll celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary this year -- now that's a Hollywood rarity.
