:love: the indicators ... I wonder what the black vertical things in the C-pillar are? They look like they might be semaphores.

Yes, in the second thumbnail you can see both the indicators and the semaphore (I always thought these were called trafficators...) pointing to the right.

So you can. I always thought trafficators were a trade name, but Wikipedia doesn't say so.
I remember seeing in 1953 a truck - Panhard, I think - fitted with trafficators that waved up and down!
