Ford_Guy ◊ 2010-09-04 19:46	It appears that the Chevrolet 1/2-ton truck was indeed sold in Mexico with the old rounded line style up until 1991. In this case, I suppose this would have to be a 1989 R-1500. I will do more research and get back to you guys on this.

I'm not sure if they were actually sold as Cheyenne, or if they just call every Chevy p/u Cheyenne!

It appears as if the "Cheyenne" name is just the most commonly used term as that is what the Chevrolet trucks over there are known as now (as opposed to the name Silverado, which is used here in the States). It relates back to how many people mislabel the pre-1999 trucks as Silverados.
