Agree on Hudson 1941 .The pickup here seems to be a right hand driven unit.May be Australian Army?

Not a Hudson. Appears to be GM Australia.

Since it looks like a right-hand drive it may very well've been taken in Australia ... but I somehow spontaneously thought it'd be from WWII, quite possibly an Opel Olympia, of which there were also light truck and such models available, and of which the '39 grill looked pretty similar to the one here.
Then again, one of their earliest models was extremely similar to another car (Citroen 5CV), and the Opel GT always looked like a poor man's job of a smaller cheaper Corvette...

No Opel Olympia for sure. It has a tatal different grille, different shape and different size.

I don´t think it´s a Dodge, they used the same style from 1939 until 1948 for the ½-Ton pickups mostly known as [WC] and it bears no resemblance with the passenger cars. Plymouth also built a similar model 1939-42 and also Sedan Deliverys based on passenger cars, but they don´t look like this one either.

As mentioned above it´s most likely built in Australia, and i guess it´s based on a 1941 Pontiac. The front fenders have the same style as 1941 Pontiac and 1940-41 Oldsmobile, but the hood, grille and position of headlights resembles the Pontiac quite well.
