Tall roof was offered since 1972 (as additional model) and in 1975 became the main model. Something tells me it is a M(icrobus) - these were exported in the biggest numbers to SU. The frames of indicators are black - rather strange, at least in home they became plastic in the early 80's.
Edit: In the years 1972-75 it was exported only to W. Germany: Link to "nysavan.mojeforum.net" and chromed frames seems were used interchangeably for some time... :/
Edit 2: more exactly black frames had to be used since ca 1977.

Since there's also a Jelcz lorry in the film, I was wondering if it was partly shot in Poland. The architecture in this shot looks Polish, but then again it could be former Polish territory like Lwow/Lvov/Lviv.

And what the plate is? :D Fake I guess... I think we already had similar one in other Soviet film.

@Gag: as it's filmed in the Soviet Union, they took again locations from the Baltic states (back then Baltic SSR's) to make it "Middle European". And the Western cars, visible there, are from a museum there.

We had talked about it before. ;)

And the plates are indeed funny. Striped coloured lates are new even for me as a plate collector. :)

You know, this car is owned by VILLAINS in strange, foreign land. Like Star/Jelcz. Good people rides in soviet cars... ;)

Thats a movie for kids. Electronic (robot-boy) was kidnapped/stolen and transported in "strange, foreign land". So when he knows that they are VILLAINS and use him for robberry, he hijacked their Jelcz and brings back stolen stuff in city museum. Nobodys killed - criminals arested (except boss)- El returns in homeland - the end.
I dont know why they use Nysa, its not unusual van in USSR. I think there was no van in museum.

They used Nysa, because it's unusual car in USSR and "easy" to believe, that the car is drive by people from foreign country. The same with Jelcz, both Opels and Skoda (owned not by villains, but also foreigners). Also action was set in "foreign country", so instead soviet looks city, we have Vilnius, city not very known and popular in the USSR.

Nysa was supplied to USSR, but it was a foreign car. Also in the movie "Pirates of the XXth Century" /vehicle_155044-Nysa-522-M-1977.html
