But parts from the 1200 are cobbled in. The view into the glove-box irritates me! I thought, the fuel-cap-opener (the litte hook on the left inside the glove-box) of the 1302 is a hook with a plastic-ring, not a bar like here. we built this beetle starting for 3-hand car.many paticulars are from different versions included mexico.standard engine and brakes,rear light from '50 bug.Banded handmade wheels,sunspension and ammo.Not street legal car,cost about 4.000.000 italian lire,today about 2.000 euros.actually she live in a private garage. |

It’s a convertible in the source martial, but this movie had a low budget. It’s still closer and better than the reboot though. |

@ingo, late answer, the same function found here - it's for the front hood. From MY1969 this replaced the old knob to the left under the dash. The fuel flap opener was a ring under the right hand side of the dash |

Yes - the same part was used 1972+ for the K 70 as front hood opener. |
