The letters look like they´re from a Swedish license plate. |

No. Neither combination, font or style ar anyhow Swedish. It's some phantasy-stuff for press- and sales-brochure-pics. Btw.: have you all noticed, that nowadays a plenty of advertise-cars have (for sure faked, resp.CGI-made) plates with mirror-possible letters and ciphers? So it's easier to make LHD- and RHD-pics. Old brochures are really painful to see. Mirrored pics as its worst! Everything from VW of the 70ies and 80ies for RHD-countries is worst cobblework, yuk! In the 80ies someone had the famous idea to pimp the brochure-pics for Holland - they coloured the original German plates (usually from WOB) just yellow, to make it looking Dutch. Marvellous. Not a too long time ago they converted the original German brochure of the Golf IV to South Africa. With mirrored pics, CGI-changed plates (from WOB to GP) - and they replaced a little white boy with a little black boy. By CGI, too. |

Well, "Swordfish" was also a WB movie, so maybe it's just a reference to that: /vehicle_2684-TVR-Tuscan-2000.html Apparently, there was also a prop version of the car. |

"W998 AFR was used on all the factory shots for the original Tuscan brochure in 2000 and was lent to Auto Express/Evo/Autocar at various times together with W995 AFR the Chameleon Orange Tuscan." |
