Nice classic phone-box in the background ![]() You could fool the phones quite easily, and the cigarette-automats -in Germany we have them still today- , too: with British Five Pence-coins, which you could use for a 1 D-Mark-coin. No kidding, for a while, it was forbidden to bankers in the British South West as Kent and Sussex, to change German citizens their D-Marks into Five-Pence-coins! Because there were indeed several crooks, which have earned "private" money to make a short trip to Britain, just for getting some bags with Five-Pence-coins,which were later on sold on schoolyards and in pubs. I had a mate in my school-class, to, who made it. He stopped his trips due a specific shock, he get: his last trip to GB he made on the second last journey of the "Herald of Free Enterprise"... Btw. I has worked with the British coins. I've tried it by myself. |
