Electra, I belief you are correct in that the vehicle was called Taft in Europe, and Toyota Landcruiser II in parts of Asia. Several of these vehicles were imported in Iceland. Strong vehicles, surviving modifications such as larger tires (36"x12,5") for winter travel. Many sustained rollovers without injuries to habitants despite lacking rollcages! Were however prone to rust like their forefather Toyota F-series. |
