I think, like medimanic, it's a Series II 109"; look at the distance between the door and the wheel-arch, and the rear overhang. Some effort has been made to make it look military - painted headlight bezels, funny registration plate - but I don't think it is or ever was. |

That format of plate seems to be fairly accurate for the British military. |

But combat vehicles have white text on black plates, and I don't think there would be two groups of letters next to each other. |

That is an ex Australian Army Vehicle, Series 2a 109" General Service as it has tool holders on the front Guards, looks like an American made film.
