eLMeR ◊ 2015-01-22 19:45	School bus made on a medium- or heavy-duty chassis from the 1955-59 Task-Force trucks line. 1955-57 fender and what looks like to be 1957 only fender emblem. Which means several possible models: it could be a 4500 (154"/3.91 m wheelbase, 30-36 pupils), a 6700 (194"/4.93 m wheelbase, 42-48 pupils), or a 6800 (220"/5.59 m wheelbase, 54 pupils) "medium-duty" bus. Or a heavy-duty one: 8800 and 10000 (both 240"/6.10 m wheelbase, 60 pupils) models were also available... If sure of the 194" wheelbase, then this bus should also have its 6702 Chevy internal code. Else, shouldn't it just be identified as a Task-Force, without anything more? ⇒ 1957 Chevrolet Task-Force 6700 [6702]? ⇒ 1957 Chevrolet Task-Force?
