This is the Karmann cabriolet version of the 1303 (curved windscreen) model VW Beetle (type 1) |

I have big doubts, that it's a real Karmann-Cabriolet! It's a 1973-1303 for sure, and the window-frame looks like from a real Cabriolet, but the cloth-roof is not original Karmann. The shape doesn't fit. If it's not total damaged or one of the aftersales-market-junk as a subsitute for a -expensive- original Karmann-roof (but the most common aftersales-market-roof from from "Käferland" is much better), I would say, someone has cobbled a Cabriolet by his own with a conversion-kit. |

Hmm guys, its a 1303 pre '75 cabriolet, no doubt about it, but its even a karman built car! I'd even say the roof is original, by the time if its getting older its getting flat in the middle... |
