This is our 1947 Pullman JLU 365. As of 2026 the car exists in good condition after a long stay as a museum exhibit and wedding hire. For many years the car was owned by a film company and appears in multiple films and TV productions, often on false plates although it has its correct ones here. In latter years it can be distinguished by its unique red leather interior, a gift from an owner who was reportedly a coach trimmer and installed it personally. From 2020 to 2025 the car underwent an extended repair and refurbishment and is in private hands. It is used regularly and has been promised it will never again see a film set since little care can be taken of such cars - as long as they look OK and can just about stagger along under their own power its happy days! -- Last edit: 2026-05-10 18:17:45 |
