Definitely not a Chrysler. Something from pre 1924 with no front brakes, distinctive hood louvres going only part way along the hood and an angle to the top edge of the radiator and hood. The car on the left could be a 1925 Hupmobile Eight. |

This had me puzzled for a long time but finally I have a lead. I think it is a Studebaker - only now do I see that there appear to be little cowl lights under the windscreen. The asymmetric door handles and hood latches also look to be of the Studebaker type, but what's still confusing me are the hood vents, which should extend to the rest of the hood. If I understand it correctly on Google, they were used only on the Big Six as the Light and Special Six had smaller, shorter hood vents. |
