Chrysler Town & Country, the wagon form of the LeBaron. |

It's too boxy to be an '86. That's an '82-'85 Lebaron Town & Country. T&C was not an independent model on the K-Cars. It's a trim level (which was also applied to the Lebaron convertibles of the same bodystyle). |

It's gotta be an 85... the movie was made in the fall of 85 and released in 86, and there's no 3rd brake light so it can't be an 86... since its most likely a new car, i'm guessing its an 85 |

![]() ![]() I am suprised you like it too marioman, it is a boxy station wagon with fake wood paneling, not the normal car for a young enthuseist to take interest in! ![]() |

I know, but it looks nice. I think it needs to be added to my top 100 cars lsit (then 101 |

I have just added it to my list of cars I like on my profile ![]() Surprisingly it is the first k-car on the list, which is weird since I have loved k-cars for as long as I rememeber |

I've always wondered what marketing wonk sat in a meeting room and said "Well, let's put fake wood panels on it, and people will buy em like hotcakes!" The pics even show the wildly divergent body gaps that speak to the build quality that was Chrysler in the 80's. |

Did Jeannie is going to get furious to race home? And does Mrs. Bueller asking her to slow down? |

Classy wagon! This was the last station wagon offered by Chrysler prior to the minivan craze. |

This LeBaron is an '85, the '86s had rounder edges and different grills among other things, also this car has the tape deck with the graphic equalizer which was new for 1985. So this is an '85 |

It's a shame that Chrysler has dwindled into a pretty lame company as of now (2020). I'd like to see a comeback with some of the classic nameplates. The Town & Country wagon like this one could be revived in a similar fashion to the current Buick Regal TourX wagon, possibly based on the current Chrysler 300 or something like that. I'd love to see Chrysler redo its new lineup with the Lebaron (compact sports sedan), Sebring (compact executive car), New Yorker (executive car), Imperial (full-size car), Town & Country (station wagon based on the New Yorker), Pacifica (compact SUV), Aspen (mid-size SUV), and Voyager (full-size minivan). |

Here is a video tour of the same model, although it's a 1987 (best I could find) - Still very close to the vehicle Mrs. Bueller drives. You get a nice view of the digital dash when starting up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg27FWuo2Zk |
