These early models had a 900 cc engine, but I don't think 900 was used as model name. Others are listed as 1956 Wartburg 311 Standard [311-0]. |

The name 1000 was used since 1962. Before to me it was just Wartburg (with make AWE), but since, long time ago, was decided that we will use Wartburg as make... we have to fill somehow also the model name and 311 is well known type name. 311-0 is a code name for the "Standard Limousine". -- Last edit: 2010-03-03 15:31:37 |
