Also interesting pics they show, when narrator is talking about the Syrena prototypes: But it is clearly a bigger car - some mock-up of '55 Warszawa M-20U... -- Last edit: 2012-10-01 23:49:47 |

I think M20-U deserves own page. |

Definitely, but as I remeber we do not list mockups I was mad, that they didn't show the real M20U. |

Why not listing mockups? IMHO the listing of prototype-mockups is much more senseful and interesting than posting model-cars, drawed cars and cars from animated movies - which is not uncommon over here. As here for example: /vehicle_129123-Ferrari-F430.html The discussion about the pic is worth to keep, but it's ridicoulous to list it as a real Ferrari made in Italy. -- Last edit: 2010-02-10 21:44:31 |

Personally I have nothing to them. Sure you have a point with model cars and cartoons. |

Rules. :X At least one full value M20-U existed. Proved its better aerodynamic shape. With a bit customized, side valve 2120 ccm engine (10-15 HP extra) and 3-speed gearbox with 0.82:1 overdrive achieved maximum speed 132 km/h. Standard (50 HP) M-20 could only 105 km/h. But we will never ever see movie with this car. Only few blurry pictures survived. http://www.polskie-auta.pl/warszawa/wm2u-08.jpg http://www.polskie-auta.pl/warszawa/wm2u-01.jpg http://www.polskie-auta.pl/warszawa/wm2u-02.jpg http://www.polskie-auta.pl/warszawa/wm2u-05.jpg http://www.polskie-auta.pl/warszawa/wm2u-06.jpg And this short scene with mock-up. -- Last edit: 2010-02-10 22:00:55 |

And just imagine how better would look the 1960's sedan with front of the "M-20U". |

I tested 223 with M20-U overdrive in CartTest2000. It could be simply way to cut down 1-1,5 l/100 km in highway fuel consumption and add 5-6 km/h max speed. -- Last edit: 2010-02-11 01:50:12 |
