Yes, it's a converted former Bundespost-parcel-transporter. Very good for this use due the high roof -you can stand in it- and the fact, that the panel between the seats and the back is open, that you wan walk through. This was not possible for regular Transporter-versions. These Post-transporter weren't only used for selfmade Camper-conversions, also ambulant ice-cream-dealers were/still are using them.
