@dsl...enjoy your SI comments. Did any of the 3.8 have the deep floor? Or did the deep floor appear with the 4.2. Many of the SI have the deep floor visible. Thanks. |

@4x4peru - not sure what you mean about the deep floor. My understanding is as wiki "The first 500 cars [ie 3.8 ] built had flat floors and external hood (bonnet) latches... After that, the floors were dished to provide more leg room and the twin hood latches moved to inside the car." If you can add something different - excellent - there are far too many with 1961+ which is just a default date, in many cases until 1967 and the uncovered lights. |
